Abstract

A plane symmetric problem on calculation of a process zone at the crack tip, which is located on the non-smooth interface of isotropic elastic media, is considered. The process zone is modeled by lines of discontinuity of the normal displacement, which are located on the interface. The exact solution of the corresponding problem of the theory of elasticity is constructed by the Wiener-Hopf method.
