ACTIVATION OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY IN CHEMISTRY

Abstract

Activation of students' cognitive activity is one of the most important problems of psychological and pedagogical science and practice. The expediency of intensifying educational and cognitive activities was emphasized in the XVII century. Jan Amos Comenius. He considered the teachers' biggest pedagogical mistake to be their desire to teach students to "look with other people's eyes, to think with other people's minds" and to offer them ready-made knowledge.
