In preparing the article, the authors adhered to the principles of historicism, objectivity, and pluralism. Conclusions: the material collected and systematized in the article provides insights into the unique use of the Assumption Church building during the Soviet era and the period of Ukraine’s independence, enriching its history and aiding in understanding the situation of its return to the Catholics of Uman uk_UA
