Abstract: In this paper results of stiffness iterative determination techniquewhile torsion the reinforced concrete rod elements considering concrete nonlinearproperties is given. The section of the element is divided into severalrectangular elements. The shearing torsions at each iteration step are determinedby the distribution of torsions, which magnitude is higher than the limit, over theelements where the torsions are in the elastic area.
Description: An algorithm for obtainingpoints on the Torque moment is relative twisting angle diagram of a reinforcedconcrete rod elements is given. Its advantage from a similar technique isthat shear torsions are determined directly from the concrete shear diagram, andnot according to the formulas of the elasticity theory. The above algorithmenables to calculate reinforced concrete rod elements using any concrete sheardiagrams obtained both experimentally and theoretically, as well as elements ofany cross-section. Limiting torsions are determined directly from the concreteshear diagram.
