Abstract

The report reveals the relevance of the problem; the essence of the concept of "ecological culture" has been characterized; features of formation of ecological culture bases in children of primary school age have been defined; the components of the content of the students' environmental education have been identified and characterized; the ways of solving the problem of environmental education in primary school have been outlined.
