An Integral Model of Training of Future Teacher of Geography for the Local History and Tourism Work on the Basis of Competence

Abstract

Social transformations, changings on the labour market, in particular in the educational services' sector, need qualitative modifications in conceptual principles of prospective geography teachers’ vocational training. As a result of scientific literature's studying, the essence of the problem of prospective teachers' geography training for hiking and local-lore activities has been analyzed, and a set of conclusions have been formulated. Until the mid 20th century scientists had been researching organisation of tourist-related and regional studies activities mostly in line with traditional school didactics.

Соціальні трансформації, зміни на ринку праці, зокрема у сфері освітніх послуг, потребують якісних змін у концептуальних засадах професійної підготовки майбутніх учителів географії. У результаті опрацювання наукової літератури проаналізовано сутність проблеми підготовки майбутніх учителів географії до пішохідної та краєзнавчої діяльності та сформульовано низку висновків. До середини ХХ століття вчені досліджували організацію туристсько-краєзнавчої діяльності переважно в руслі традиційної шкільної дидактики.
